Welcome to Ars Musica
Ars Musica
Sacred music. Structured vision. A place for lasting work.
Welcome to Ars Musica—a place where sacred music is taught, composed, studied, and shared with care, clarity, and enduring purpose. Founded by Parker MacIver Hinnenkamp, Ars Musica is more than a studio or portfolio. It is a working framework: a structure built to uphold the beauty, vocation, and long-term needs of liturgical music in the Church and beyond.
Rooted in the Lutheran tradition and open to all who seek depth in their artistic and spiritual lives, Ars Musica offers:
Private instruction in piano and organ for students of all ages and learning profiles
Consulting and leadership for choirs, congregations, and worship planners
Masterclasses, residencies, and academic lectures in hymnody, improvisation, and pedagogy
Support and inclusion for LGBTQ+ musicians, disabled students, and underrepresented voices
Original compositions, sacred repertoire, and accessible resources for music ministries
Every offering is guided by the same conviction: that beautiful things endure best when they are well cared for—and well built.

More Than a Name
The words Ars Musica mean “the art of music.” But this work is not abstract. It is made up of people—students, singers, artists, pastors—doing real things, in real time, with real needs.
That’s why this space was built: to give sacred music what it deserves. Not a platform, but a place. Not just permission, but structure. And not just memory, but movement.
Whether you’re looking for a teacher, a collaborator, a guest leader, or a framework for your own next step, there is room here.
